He belongs to 1986 Civil Services (popularly known as IAS) and allotted IRTS, Indian Railway Traffic Service. He has served Railways 33 and a half Years in various capacities in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, MP, Maharashtra, Karnataka and AP. He also served as Chief Regional Manager, IRCTC and Chief Executive Officer, HM Rail Development Co., Bangalore. He retired at the level of Additional Secretary, Govt. of India. He won 13 Awards for efficient working, attended many trainings and seminars and visiting faculty in many institutes. His Hobbies are Teaching & Training and music. Serving society is his passion. He is expert in developing teams with high morale and has a great flair for humane management. His eye for innovation can be seen in novel schemes like battery-operated ferry car in Railway stations.
